The Land Ministry has further extended the deadline for paying the current year’s land development tax till June 15 amid the coronavirus outbreak.
The ministry issued an order on Wednesday in this regard, said a press release.
According to the existing rules, the 30th Chaitra of the Bangla calendar (April 13) is the deadline for paying the yearly land development tax.
On April 9, the deadline was extended till May 13 due to the general holidays and restriction on people’s movement in a bid to check the spread of coronavirus.
