Milestone College honoured Najmun Nahar, the globally renowned traveller and Bangladesh’s first flag-bearing world conqueror, with the prestigious “Flag Envoy of Bangladesh” gold medal and an honorary certificate on Wednesday.
The ceremony took place at the Lt Col M Kamaluddin Hall at the college’s Diabari Campus, where Principal Md Ziaul Alam, accompanied by senior faculty members, handed over the medal and certificate to her before an audience of several thousand students.
The hall was filled with excitement and admiration, celebrating her extraordinary achievement in carrying the red and green flag of Bangladesh across the globe.

The event also marked the official inauguration of the Milestone College Tourist Club, aimed at encouraging students to develop an interest in travel, culture, and global exploration.
