A Bangladesh delegation arrived in Islamabad on Saturday to attend the 9th OIC Ministerial Conference on Women, which will be held in Pakistan on July 12-13.
Social Welfare and Women and Children Affairs Adviser Dr AZM Zahid Hossain is leading the delegation, according to a media statement.
Pakistan's State Minister for Law and Justice Aqeel Malik and Bangladesh High Commissioner to Pakistan Md Iqbal Hossain Khan received the delegation at Islamabad International Airport.
The delegation also includes Women and Children Affairs Secretary Yasmin Parveen and the adviser's Private Secretary Dr Md Mahmudul Haque.
Following his arrival, the minister visited Bangladesh's newly constructed chancery complex in the Diplomatic Enclave, where officials and staff of the Bangladesh High Commission welcomed him.
He exchanged greetings with the mission personnel and planted a tree on the High Commission premises.
