Bangladesh is likely to be covered with moderate to thick fog in next 24 hours commencing 9am on Wednesday, the weather office has predicted.
According to the regular bulletin of Bangladesh Meteorological Department, “Moderate to thick fog may occur at places over the river basins and light to moderate fog may occur at places elsewhere over the country during midnight to morning.”
Weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country and night and day temperatures may remain nearly unchanged over the country, it said.

The lowest temperature in the country was recorded at 11.7 degree Celsius in Srimangal of Sylhet division in last 24 hours till 6am today (Wednesday) while the highest temperature was 29.8 degree Celsius recorded in Teknaf of Chattogram division.
Meanwhile, the low pressure area over central part of South Bay and adjoining area persists. Its associated trough extends up to North Bay.
Ridge of Sub-continental high extends up to Bihar and adjoining area.
