Fatema Tuz Zohra, the mother of July uprising martyr Abdullah Bin Jahid, on Tuesday met Prime Minister Tarique Rahman along with her cancer-stricken son, Mahmudullah Bin Jisan.
She met the Prime Minister at his office at the Jatiya Sangsad Secretariat where the Prime Minister also assured her of a job, said a release issued by the Prime Minister's Press Wing.
Member Secretary of Amra BNP Poribar Krishibid Mokhsedul Momin Mithun was also present.
Abdullah Bin Jahid was shot dead on the night of August 5, 2024, during the July uprising.
Two weeks later, the family learned that Jahid's younger brother, Mahmudullah Bin Jisan, had been diagnosed with cancer. Seven months later, the family also lost the children's father.
