Bangladesh Coast Guard members on Thursday recovered the body of a man who went missing following a trawler capsize in the Meghna River in Munshiganj district on Wednesday.
The deceased was identify as Hridoy,35.
Lt. Commander Abdur Rahman, Media Officer of Bangladesh Coast Guard Headquarters, said the timber-carrying trawler named "Chander Alo" sank at the estuary of the river as Chandpur-bound launch MV Mitali-7 from Dhaka hit it at around 12:00 pm on Wednesday.

Three passengers of the trawler managed to swim ashore while Hridoy went missing.
On information, a rescue team of Coast Guard Station Pagla rushed to the spot and started rescue operation but did not find the missing man till Wednesday evening.
The divers of Coast guard were able to locate the sunken tralwler and recovered the body from inside the trawler, he said.

The body was later handed over to Munshiganj Kalagachhia River Police, he added.
