State Minister-1 for Foreign Affairs Humaiun Kobir on Tuesday signed the condolence book at the Nepal Embassy in Dhaka on behalf of the Bangladesh Government following the sudden devastating floods and mudslide in northern Nepal recently.
"As we stand together, we are confident in the resilience and strength of the people of Nepal to overcome the challenges with fortitude," the State Minister wrote.
On behalf of the Government and the people of Bangladesh, he extended their heartfelt sympathies and condolences to the Government and the friendly people of Nepal for the death of hundreds of people including tourists and the large scale destruction of properties and infrastructure following the sudden devastating floods and mudslide in northern Nepal on 26 August 2026
