The Islamic Foundation has not taken any initiative to officially register mosques or provide allowances to Khatibs, Imams and Muezzins.
Recently, an unscrupulous group of self-interested individuals has been spreading misleading and baseless information through social media and trying to create confusion in the public mind and achieve their own vile interests, the Islamic Foundation said this in a press release on Friday.
In this regard, the respected Khatib's-Imams, scholars-ulamas, relevant dignitaries and devout Muslims are being requested not to be confused.
In addition, the deputy directors of the district offices and the directors of the Islamic Foundation's divisional offices have been directed to engage in public awareness campaigns in their respective areas.
The Islamic Foundation also requested everyone to act responsibly by verifying and sorting out such rumors instead of listening to them.
