Police arrested a man from Kafrul area in the city on Wednesday morning for ‘sexually abusing’ a five-year-old girl.
The arrestee is Mohir Uddin, 55, a tiles worker.
Officer-in-charge of Kafrul Police station Selimuzzaman said the father of the victim filed a case with the police station on Tuesday night .
The victim child was sent to the one-stop crisis centre at Dhaka Medical College Hospital for medical tests on Wednesday, the OC added.
