Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Sunday expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of former pro vice-chancellor and professor of Drama and Dramatics Department of Jahangirnagar University Professor Dr Afsar Ahmed.
In a condolence message, the Prime Minister said Dr Afsar Ahmed will be remembered forever for his unique contribution in Bangla drama.

She prayed for the eternal salvation of the departed soul and expressed sympathy to the bereaved family.
Dr Afsar breathed his last at the National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases around 1:45 pm on Saturday at the age of 60.
