Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina visited the mega stall of Walton after inaugurating the month-long 28th Dhaka International Trade Fair (DITF)-2024 at the Bangabandhu Bangladesh-China Friendship Exhibition Center at Purbachal on Sunday.
The Prime Minister visited the 'Made in Bangladesh' labeled Walton products and lauded the remarkable progress of the local brand in manufacturing hi-tech items, said a press release of Walton.
S M Mahbubul Alam, managing director of Walton Hi-Tech Industries PLC, said, the Prime Minister greeted Walton for its initiatives in manufacturing high standard products with advanced features.
During the Prime Minister's visit at Walton mega stall, State Minister for Commerce Ahasanul Islam (Titu), MP, Adviser to the Prime Minister Salman F Rahman, Senior Secretary of the Ministry of Commerce Tapan Kanti Ghosh, Walton Hi-Tech Industries PLC's Director Tahmina Afrose Tanna, Walton's Additional Managing Director S M Shoyeb Hossain Nobel and Major General (Retd.) Ibne Fazal Shayekhuzzaman, FBCCI President Mahbubul Alam and EPB's Vice-Chairman AHM Ahsan, among others, were present, the release added.
