Police arrested a private university student from Char Kashipur area of Fatullah in a case filed under Pornography Control Act early Friday.
The accused was identified as Saddam Hossain, 24, son of late Razzak Matubbar and student of Northern University.
Sub-Inspector Mizan of Fatullah Model Police Station said Saddam had an affair with a girl from his neighbourhood who got married someone else few months back.
Being agitated, Saddam spread their intimate photos on social media and also sent them to the girl’s in-laws, he said.
Later, the victim’s father filed a case at Fatullah Police Station in this regard, the SI said.
