President inaugurates flood shelter, student residence in Kishoreganj's Itna


President Abdul Hamid inaugurated a flood shelter and a student residence in Kishoreganj's Itna Wednesday.

President Abdul Hamid Government College Flood Shelter Centre and First Lady Rashida Hamid Female Student Residence were built at a cost of about Tk3.50 crore and Tk1.10 crore.

President inaugurates flood shelter, student residence in Kishoreganj's Itna

The president arrived in Kishoreganj on August 22 on a four-day visit to see the progress of some development projects in his native district and met with the local representatives and professionals.

Hamid is scheduled to return to Dhaka on Thursday.
