With the aim of transforming Jhikargachha Upazila of Jashore into a modern and cashless community, Pubali Bank PLC, Jhikargachha Sub-Branch, organized a special Cashless Campaign in Jhikargachha on Monday.

The campaign was organized to encourage people to adopt digital payment methods, reduce dependency on cash transactions, and promote safe, convenient and modern electronic payment services among customers and local businesses.

The campaign was inaugurated by Mr. Farid Ahmed, Assistant General Manager, Pubali Bank PLC, Jashore Branch, and Mr. Khan Emran Hossain, Manager, Jhikargachha Sub-Branch, Pubali Bank PLC.

Following the inauguration, QR Codes were distributed among local customers and business owners to facilitate easy and secure cashless transactions. Bank officials also explained the benefits and procedures of QR-based digital payments and encouraged local businesses to adopt cashless payment solutions in their day-to-day transactions.

During the campaign, the bank officials highlighted that the use of digital payment systems can make financial transactions faster, easier and more secure. QR-based payments can be particularly beneficial for small and medium-sized businesses, shopkeepers, professionals and service providers by reducing the need to handle and carry cash.

The initiative is also expected to help reduce the risks associated with cash transactions while making business transactions more transparent and easier to maintain records of.
