River ports in some parts of Bangladesh have been asked to hoist ‘warning signal No 1’ due to inclement weather.
“Rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary south or south-easterly gusty or squally wind speed 45-60 kph is likely over the regions of Rangpur, Dinajpur, Rajshahi, Pabna, Bogura, Tangail, Mymensingh, Dhaka, Faridpur, Madaripur, Jashore, Kushtia, Khulna, Barishal, Patuakhali, Noakhali, Cumilla, Chattogram, Cox’s Bazar and Sylhet during till 6 pm on Saturday, commencing at 9am,” said a special bulletin of Met office.
