River ports in some parts of Bangladesh have been asked to hoist ‘warning signal No 1’ as temporary west or north-westerly gusty or squally wind is likely to hit the country.
West or north-westerly squalls may blow through places of Sylhet with speed of 45-60 kph per hour, the Met Office said.
“The river ports there should hoist ‘riverine warning signal No 1’,” it said on Saturday.
