In a remarkable milestone for Bangladeshi content creators and the global literary community, renowned digital content creator and Artificial Intelligent ( AI) instructor RobinRafan has made history as his two bestselling books debut at the 34th New York International Bangla Boi Mela, hosted at the Jamaica Performing Arts Center (JPAC) in New York.
Organized by the Muktodhara Foundation, this vibrant celebration of Bangla literature runs from May 23 to May 26, and was officially inaugurated by acclaimed author Sadat Hossain.
The book fair was inaugurated by acclaimed Bangladeshi author Sadat Hossain, while the chief guest of the event was none other than Phyllis Taylor, the renowned American peace activist and respected friend of Bangladesh’s Liberation War.
The fair also honored several distinguished figures as special guests, including: Professor Rehman Sobhan, renowned Bangladeshi economist and policy advocate, Gayatri Chakravorty Spivak, eminent Indian literary critic and scholar Professor Rounaq Jahan, senior fellow at the Centre for Policy Dialogue (CPD), Sitara Begum, pioneering Bangladeshi army officer and doctor.
The cultural celebration was further enriched by the presence of legendary singers Fahmida Nabi and Rezwana Choudhury Bannya, who attended as invited guests.
RobinRafan’s two books—Creative Content O Safal Career and Vobisshot er Freelancing: Proshikkhon Theke Safollo—were originally released at the Amar Ekushey Book Fair 2025 in Dhaka by Borshadupur / Studentways Publications. Both titles quickly became bestsellers and are now available for purchase at the Muktodhara Foundation's official book stall at the New York fair, making them accessible to a global audience for the very first time.
Speaking about the momentous occasion, RobinRafan said “Content creation is now a global profession. For my international followers and the Bangladeshi diaspora, this is a wonderful opportunity. They can now access my books more easily. I’m truly honored and feeling very happy to see my work on such a respected international platform.”
This international recognition follows closely on the heels of RobinRafan receiving the Best Content Creator Award at the 4th BIFA Awards 2025, a testament to his growing influence across the digital and literary worlds.
The presence of globally respected academics, activists, and cultural legends at the fair underscores the rising stature of Bangladeshi literature and content creation on the world stage—an evolution that RobinRafan continues to shape with passion and purpose.
