The Secretary-General of the July Martyrs' Memorial Foundation, Sarjis Alam, reaffirmed his commitment to justice for the victims of the July martyrs. He condemned those advocating for the political rehabilitation of Sheikh Hasina and her associates, describing them as accomplices of fascists.
“We will not rest until the murderers face justice. Those who speak of rehabilitating the killers and their collaborators are also enablers of fascism,” Sarjis Alam declared during a program in Barishal on Saturday.

The event was held at the Barishal Shilpakala Academy Auditorium, where 79 families out of the 314 martyrs from the Barishal Division were given aid checks of Tk 5 lakh each. The foundation's organisers mentioned that many martyr families have registered in Dhaka and assured that all families will be provided assistance gradually.
Deputy Commissioner Delwar Hossain and Civil Surgeon Maria Hasan, among others, were present at this event.
