Police in a drive arrested Saifuddin Saiful, president of Savar unit BNP, from Dhaka’s Mohammadpur area on Tuesday night.

Tipped off, a team of Savar Model Police Station conducted a drive in the area and arrested him around 8:30 pm, said Aswadur Rahman, sub-inspector of Savar Model Police Station.
He was wanted in 50 cases filed over violence and arson attacks.
