A 30-year-old security guard was killed after being hit by a truck on Anwara side approach road of Bangabandhu tunnel in Chattogram on Tuesday morning.
The deceased was identified as Parvez, son of Mohammad Sayeed of Poraikora Mahata village of Anwara upazila. He had been working as a security guard at Yang Wan Su Factory in Anwara Korean EPZ.

According to police and local sources, when Parvez was going to office on a bicycle from his home in the morning a truck knocked him down, leaving him dead on the spot.
Md Kawsar, second officer of Anwara Police Station, said the truck fled after the incident.
