State Minister for Foreign Affairs Shama Obaed Islam on Wednesday underscored the importance of enhancing people-to-people contacts, mutual visa waiver agreement, regular bilateral engagements and high-level visits to further deepen the partnership with Morocco.
The issues were discussed when Ambassador of Morocco to Bangladesh Lalla Bouthaina El Kerdoudi El Koulali paid a courtesy call on the State Minister at the Ministry.
Both sides discussed avenues to strengthen cooperation in the fields of trade, investment, pharmaceutical, textile, jute and jute goods, maritime, shipbuilding and manpower sectors.
The State Minister also emphasised the importance of increased collaboration in sports, culture, science and technology.
The Ambassador said location of Morocco is a strategic hub of market access to Africa and Europe.
