Senior Judicial Magistrate Zakir Hossain accepted a charge-sheet after Inspector Shah Alam of Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI), also the investigation officer of the case, submitted it before this court.
The court also fixed Thursday to begin the charge-framing hearing in the case.
The PBI submitted the 271-page charge-sheet 98 days into the sexual harassment of the madrasa girl. A total of 29 people were made witnesses in the case.
On March 27, Sirajuddoula sexually harassed Nusrat in his office. Her mother filed the case against the principal the following day.
On April 6, Nusrat was set afire at an examination centre allegedly by people loyal to the principal after he was arrested and subsequently suspended following the filing of the case.
She lost her battle for life on April 10 at Dhaka Medical College Hospital in the capital.
Meanwhile, Nurul Amin, an office assistant of the madrasa, testified before the Women and Children Repression Prevention Tribunal here on Wednesday in the murder case filed over the killing of the madrasa girl.
Judge Mamunur Rashid of the tribunal also fixed Thursday for recording the testimony of madrasa guard Mostafa.
All the 16 accused in the case were produced before the court around 11am amid tight security.
