A teenager in the capital’s Mohammadpur area was hospitalized after being seriously injured in a stabbing attack.
Imran Hossain, 16, an autorickshaw driver and son of Alauddin from Bhola’s Char Fashion, was stabbed due to previous enmity over a Carrom board game, he claimed.
The incident occurred at around 7 pm on Tuesday near Rayerbazar Intellectual Memorial.

Rabeya Akhter, younger sister of the victim, said several teenagers picked up Imran from their house and left him stabbed near the Intellectual Memorial.
He was rushed to Suhrawardy Medical College Hospital from where he was brought to the emergency department of Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) in the evening as his condition deteriorated.

Imran said due to an argument he was taken away. He claimed eight to ten people including Shaon, 17, and Billu, 17, stabbed him at random.
Md Bachchu Mia, police inspector of DMCH police camp, said the teenager was undergoing treatment at the emergency department of the hospital.
