The fire that broke out at a restaurant in the capital's Uttara on Friday morning, has been brought under control, said a fire service official.
Twelve firefighting units from Uttara, Tongi, Baridhara, Kurmitola, Siddiq Bazar brought the fire under control around 2pm, said Anwarul Islam, a warehouse inspector at the Fire Service and Civil Defence(FSCD) headquarters media cell.

So far, seven people have been rescued by the fire service officials.
