Vote casting in the Dhaka Reporters Unity (DRU) election has been progressing in a festive manner.
The voting began at 9am and will continue till 5pm (Monday) without any break.
A total of 1693 members of the country's biggest organisation of reporters will cast their votes.
Former President of Jatiya Press Club (JPC) Riaz Uddin Ahmed is playing the role of Chief Election Commissioner with two Election Commissions Manjurul Ahsan Bulbul and MA Aziz.

There are 21 posts and three candidates - Women Affairs Secretary Rita Nahar, Publicity and Publication Secretary Maidur Rahman Rubel and Welfare Secretary Khalid Saifullah - have already been elected unopposed.
A total of 38 candidates are contesting for the remaining 18 posts.
