The Self-assessment Committees of the Department of Business, Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) and English department organised the workshops.

On Wednesday, the business administration department organised the workshop on Completion of Self-assessment Process and Implementation of PSAIP. Professor Dr Mesbahuddin Ahmed, chairman of Higher Education Accreditation Council of Bangladesh, spoke as the chief guest. 

He said BUBT should continue spending money on ground level survey to know the gap between reality and expectations, while reminding everyone that there was replacement for quality in higher education in Bangladesh. 

Ahmed also conducted a session on Challenges of the Implementation of Post Self-assessment Improvement Plan (PSAIP).

The workshop was presided over by BUBT Vice-Chancellor Professor Md Abu Saleh. Prof Dr Syed Masud Husain, Faculty of Business dean delivered the welcome speech. 

On Monday, another workshop on Post Self-assessment Improvement Plan was jointly organised by the Self-assessment Committee of the department of CSE, EEE and English. BUBT vice chancellor attended it as the chief guest.

M Azharul Haque, chairman of EEE department delivered the welcome speech and presented EEE’s SAC. Two other presentations on PSAIP were presented by Assistant Professor of CSE department MM Fazle Rabbi and English’s Assistant Professor Md Sabbir Ahmed. 

Deans of various faculties; registrar; controller of examinations; directors; proctor; joint registrar; chairmen of different departments; faculty members and officials attended the workshops.
