ShareTrip co-founder and Chief Executive Officer Sadia Haque has been named "CEO of the Year" in the startup category.

Sadia was given the award at the Bangladesh C-Suite Awards 2023 held at Radisson Blue Water Garden, Dhaka, on Saturday, according to a press release.

Introduced by the Bangladesh Brand Forum in 2022, the C-Suite Awards recognise and celebrate the success of exceptional business leaders, especially C-Suite executives and directors of Bangladeshi businesses who prove exemplary integrity and excellence, it said.

Recipients of this award have been selected by a distinguished advisory board comprised of eminent business leaders, alongside a professional audit board, based on vast criteria of management achievement, business performance, people centricity, innovation, and more.

This year’s awards have been distributed in 28 categories, and the winners include Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) of Grameenphone Mohammad Sajjad Hasib and Marketing Director of PRAN-RFL Group Chowdhury Kamruzzaman in the category of Chief Marketing Officer/Marketing Director of the Year.

Group CFO and Director of Berger Paints Bangladesh Limited Sazzad Rahim Chowdhury and CPA, Finance Director of PRAN-RFL Group Uzma Chowdhury in the Chief Financial Officer (CFO)/Finance Director of the Year category, CBO of Grameenphone Dr Asif Naimur Rashid in the Chief Business Officer (CBO)/Business Director of the Year category, CEO of Sajida Foundation Zahida Fizza Kabir in the category of CEO/MD of the Year NGO/Development Sector, and Chief Digital Business Officer of Prothom Alo ABM Jabed Sultan in the Chief Digital Officer (CDO)/Digital Director of the Year category

C-Suite professionals from Daraz Bangladesh Limited, Energypac, and British American Tobacco Bangladesh also received recognition, the release said.

Earlier, Sadia, won the “Women of Inspiration Awards 2023” by Junior Chamber International (JCI) Bangladesh and also received the distinguished “Women Leader of the Year” award at the Kotler Awards 2023.
