Akshay Kumar’s Kesari Chapter 2 is maintaining a steady performance at the box office. On its fifth day, the film earned ₹4.75 crore, according to data from Sacnilk.
Directed by Karan Singh Tyagi and jointly produced by Dharma Productions, Leo Media Collective, and Cape of Good Films, the historical drama has now reached a total gross of ₹38.75 crore.
As per the report, the film registered an overall 23.25% occupancy in Hindi screenings on Tuesday, April 22. The breakdown of show-wise bookings was 16.66% in the morning, 30.97% in the afternoon, 36.38% in the evening, and peaked at 41.89% during the night shows.
Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh noted that the movie performed reasonably well on its crucial Monday. Sharing an update on X, he stated, “Kesari Chapter 2 held up decently on its make-or-break Monday, with evening shows at urban multiplexes showing stronger attendance. The film’s opening day had the advantage of the Good Friday holiday, and while Monday’s hold is encouraging, higher numbers would have been ideal considering the positive word of mouth.”
Regarding Tuesday’s collections, Adarsh pointed out that the Blockbuster Tuesdays offer—launched by several major cinema chains with ticket prices starting at ₹99—likely contributed to increased attendance. “A consistent performance throughout the weekdays is now crucial,” he added.
Taran Adarsh also shared the film’s day-wise earnings:
Friday: ₹7.84 crore
Saturday: ₹10.08 crore
Sunday: ₹11.70 crore
Monday: ₹4.50 crore
Bringing the total to ₹34.12 crore by the end of Monday.
With its continued momentum and support from weekday offers, Kesari Chapter 2 is now inching closer to the ₹40 crore mark.
