Information and Broadcasting Minister and Awami League Joint General Secretary Dr. Hasan Mahmud said even journalists were not spared from the anarchy of BNP-Jamaat as over 20 journalists got injured by their attack.
"The criminals who involved this heinous attack will be brought to justice," he said when he accompanied a delegation of AL visiting the injured people at the Dhaka Medical College Hospital.

More than 150 policemen were injured, one policeman was hacked to death and commoners were also attacked, he informed.
During the visit, they inquired about the treatment of those who got injured in the attacks in the name of the rally hosted by BNP in Dhaka today.

On behalf of the government and the party, they went there at the Prime Minister's directives to see the injured journalists, policemen, party leaders and activists in the brutal attack of BNP-Jamaat in the name of rally, he said.
He said they would also go to Rajarbagh Police Hospital.

At that time, Awami League presidium members Jahangir Kabir Nanak and Abdur Rahman, joint general secretaries Mahbubul Alam Hanif, AFM Bahauddin Nasim and central leaders were also present.
The AL leader said the journalists went to cover news, the police were discharging their duty, the common people were going to their work but they came under attack.
This brutal attack even crossed BNP's brutality in 2013, 2014, 2015, Hasan said, adding that the culprits must be brought to justice.
During the visit, Awami League leaders assured to stand beside the injured people.
Later, the AL delegation visited the injured people at Rajarbagh Central Police Hospital and talked to their family members.
