A training workshop was held for the polling agents of Nasrul Hamid, the Awami League candidate for Dhaka-3 constituency in the 12th National Election and State Minister for Power, Energy, and Mineral Resources.
The training and party campaigning workshops were held yesterday at the Basundhara Riverview Convention Center in South Keraniganj.

At the workshop, trainers provided the participants with a preliminary understanding of their activities on election day. They were informed about recognizing valid voters and the use of ballot papers. Guidance was also given on what to do if a voter’s name is not on the voter list and how physically disabled voters can cast their votes.
A total of 252 polling agents participated in the sixth phase of the training workshop. This time, the arrangement was exclusively for polling agents from Konda union.
Among others present at the training workshop were Shahin Ahmed, Chairman of Keraniganj Upazila Parishad and President of South Keraniganj Awami League; MI Mamun, General Secretary; Josim Mahmud, Treasurer of Dhaka district Awami League; Zafar Iqbal Bappi, President of Konda union Awami League; and Imraj Hossain Sohag, General Secretary.

At the upcoming January 7 national election, from the Dhaka-3 seat, along with Nasrul Hamid, a total of 7 candidates nominated by Jatiya Party and others, are contesting. There are nearly three and a half lakh voters in total.
