Barrister Zaima Rahman, daughter of BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman, on Saturday conducted a door-to-door election campaign in Dhaka-17 constituency, seeking public support for her father ahead of the national election.
Zaima began the campaign around noon from Gulshan Police Plaza area and moved through different roads of Gulshan, directly approaching voters and requesting support for the BNP’s electoral symbol, the ‘Sheaf of Paddy’.
During the campaign, she distributed leaflets among pedestrians, rickshaw-pullers, auto-rickshaw drivers, shopkeepers, street vendors and shoppers at local shopping malls.
