China successfully launched a Long March-12 carrier rocket from a commercial spacecraft launch site in the southern island province of Hainan on Saturday, sending a new group of internet satellites into space, official sources said.
The carrier rocket lifted off at 3:27am (Beijing Time) from the commercial launch site in Wenchang and successfully deployed its payload-the 27th group of low-orbit internet satellites-into its preset orbit.
