It was a relatively easy total for a batting unit consisting of national team stalwarts including Najmul Hossain Shanto, Naim Sheikh, Mushfiqur Rahim, Afif Hossain, Mosaddek Hossain and Saifuddin.
But it was not the case, as experienced campaigner Mushfiqur Rahim had to play a responsible innings to rescue the side, much like he did with the national side in the recently concluded ODI series against Sri Lanka.
Najmul Hossain and Afif Hossain— failed to impress with the bat as they both fell for 2 .
On the other hand , matches between Old DOHS Sports Club and Legends of Rupganj, and Brothers Union and Prime Doleshwar Sporting Club ended with no result due to the rain in BKSP.
Mahmudul Hasan Joy of DOHS scored 78 off 55 balls with seven fours and two sixes while Rakin Ahmed of the same team scored 46 off 33 balls. But their efforts went in vain as the match ended up without a result. They had scored 171 for four in 20 overs.
Brothers Union scored 127 for seven in 18.4 before the rain hit the game, with Mizanur Rahman, Junaid Siddique and Alauddin Babu scoring 31, 48 and 20 respectively.
