Bangladesh Premier League champions Bashundhara Kings will start their Group D campaign of the AFC Cup Football'2021 taking on Maziya Sports & Recreation Club of the Maldives on Wednesday.
The match will kick off at 10 pm (Bangladesh Standard time) at the National Football Stadium in Male.
Bashundhara Kings have played just one match till date in the AFC Cup - the opening match of the South Zone in last year's cancelled tournament and made an impressive debut outplaying TC Sports Club of the Maldives by 5-1 goal thanks to four goals from former Argentina international Hernan Barcos.
The Kings will play their 2nd group match on August 21 at 5 pm (BST) at the same venue against JSW Bengaluru FC of India, which eliminated Club Eagles of the Maldives by 1-0 goal in a play-off match in Male last Sunday (August 15)

In their last Group D match, Bashundhara Kings will encounter Kolkata giant traditional ATK Mohun Bagan FC on August 24, also at 5 pm (BST) at the National Stadium in Male.
In the remaining group D matches, Mohun Bagan FC will play JSW Bengaluru FC on Wednesday at 5:pm( BST), Mohun Bagan will face Mazia S&RC on August 21 at 10 pm (BST) while Bengaluru FC will meet Mazia S&RC on August 24 at 10 pm (BST), all at the National Stadium in Male.

Earlier, the Group D matches of the AFC Cup was postponed in last May and was rescheduled for June 30 to July 6, but deferred again (till August) as per appeal of the Badhindhara Kings for their engagement in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Football.
