Fide Master Manon Reja Neer of Bangladesh shared the second slot in the boys U-18 group of the 25th Asian Youth Chess Championships, with two other players securing 4.5 points after the sixth round matches held in Al Ain, United Arab Emirates, on Monday.

After the sixth round of matches, Bangladeshi players WCM Warsia Khusbu earned 3.5 points, while CM Md Azmaeen Pervez Sayor (Boys U-16 Group), WFM Wadifa Ahmed (Girls U-16 Group), Tasfiqur Rahman (Boys U-8 Group), and Warisa Haider (Girls U-8 Group) scored three points each.
Besides, Syed Ridwan (Boys U-16 Group), Kazi Afsan Rawank Anan (Boys U-14 Group), Oitijja Barua (Boys U-10 Group), and Muhtadi Tajwar Nasheed (Boys U-10 Group) scored 2.5 points each, while Sidratul Muntaha scored two points playing six matches.

In Monday's sixth of round matches, FM Manon Reja Neer beat FM Plyasunov Daniil of Russia, Syed Ridwan beat Combs Noah of Guam, Sidratul Muntaha beat Yagshygeldiyeva Aisha of Turkmenistan, and Kazi Afsan Rawnak Annan drew with Chen Yung Hao of Taipei.
While Md Azmaeen Parvez Sayor lost to Tanikeyev Beknur of Kazakhstan, WCM Warsia Khusbu lost to WCM Treobrazhenskaya Diana, Tashfiqur Rahman lost to Beknazarov Rahim, WFM Wadifa Ahmed lost to Seyilhanova Gulmira of Turkmenistan, Muhtadi Tajwar Nasheed lost to Aaaradhya Suyog Bagul of Singapore, Warsia Haider lost to Munkh Ayalguu Dorjderem of Mongolia, and Oitijja Barua lost to Poormosavi Seyed Kanan of Iran.
