“Bangladesh. They (are) better than what they showed, no fault of management, players need to be held responsible, you either want to play or you don’t, they all didn’t,” Dale replied to his fan.
Bangladesh played a total of eight matches in this year’s T20 World Cup and won only two, and those wins came against weaker teams like Oman and Papua New Guinea.
They had started the World Cup with a shocking defeat in a match with Scotland. However, wins against Oman and Papua New Guinea helped them qualify for the Super 12 stage.
But in the Super 12s, they lost all of their matches. They got close against Sri Lanka and the West Indies but were unable to finish the matches well.
Bangladesh missed the services of Shakib Al Hasan in the last two matches against South Africa and Australia. The all-rounder had been out of the competition because of a hamstring injury.
