Sri Lanka will fall one place in the rankings if Bangladesh win the series 1-0. They will drop to eighth place after losing 5 points, while West Indies will rise to seventh place. On the other hand, the ranking of Bangladesh will remain unchanged. However, Bangladesh's rating points will be increased by 9 points, bringing the total to 60. 

Bangladesh win by 2-0

If Bangladesh win the series 2-0, Sri Lanka will drop one spot in the rankings. They will drop to the eighth position after losing six points, while West Indies will climb to seventh. On the other hand, Bangladesh will maintain its current position. But, Bangladesh's rating points will be raised 11 points to 62.

Series draw 1-1 / 0-0

Sri Lanka will slip three points to eighth place if the series ends 1-1. While Bangladesh will get 4 points and a 55-point rating. And if the series ends in a 0-0 draw, the outcome would be the same. 

Sri Lanka win by 1-0

If Sri Lanka win the series 1-0, the team's ranking and rating points will remain unchanged. Both teams will be in the same position as they were before. 

Sri Lanka win by 2-0

Neither team's ranking will change if Sri Lanka win the series 2-0. However, Sri Lanka's rating point will rise by one point to 84, while Bangladesh's will fall by two points to 49.
