Shadman Islam, who hit a 50 in the first innings, partnered Mominul to end the day. However, he fell prey to Shannon Gabriel for five.
Next, Mushfiqur joined Mominul in the fourth wicket stand, and they ended the day without any more losses. Bangladesh were batting at 47 for three in 20 overs at the end of day’s play.
Earlier, the hosts secured a handy lead of 171 runs, removing the last five wickets of the visitors in six runs. The West Indies managed to score 259 in their first inning while replying Bangladesh’s 430.

After registering his first Test ton a day ago, Mehidy Hasan Miraz completed a four-wicket haul on Friday.
Captain Kraigg Brathwaite scored 76, which was the score best by any West Indian batsmen in this innings.
Jermaine Blackwood hit 68 while making a 99-run stand in the sixth wicket stand with Joshua Da Silva.
In the last 40 minutes of their innings, the West Indies lost half of their wickets.
For Bangladesh, Mehidy bagged four conceding 58 runs while Mustafizur Rahman, Taijul Islam and Nayeem Hasan took two wickets each.
