Bangladesh women's cricket team left Dhaka Thursday for the UAE to take part in the Women's T20 World Cup qualifiers.
Bangladesh will take on Ireland, Scotland and the US in the first phase.
The next Women's T20 World Cup will take place in South Africa in 2023.
"We don't want to play the qualifiers again," Bangladesh captain Nigar Sultana told the media Thursday. "It adds extra pressure on us. So, we have to play well when we take other teams in other events."
Bangladesh have included Marufa Akter, who performed well in the domestic arena recently, in the squad. The pacer was among the top bowlers in recent events.
