Joma Akter clinched the bronze medal in compound women's singles of the Paris 2024 Paralympics final quota tournament beating Wallace Teresa of USA by 138-134 score in a bronze medal deciding match held in Dubai, UAE last Wednesday (March 6).
Earlier, Joma Akter reached the event's quarterfinal beating Venter Katelynn of Namibia by 133-112 score, moved to semifinal defeating LeeYun Hsien of Chinese Taipei by 134-130 score but lost to Virgilio Maria Andrea of Italy by 136-137 score in the semifinal to settle for bronze medal race.
