The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) revealed a new schedule for the Bangabandhu Dhaka Premier Divison T20 Cricket League on Tuesday after it was hit rain.
The second round of games was scheduled to take palace on Tuesday, but bad weather forced the change in schedule.
As per the new schedule, the second and third round of games will take place in a single venue— Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium— from June 2 to 5, with three games each day.

Cricket Committee of Dhaka Metropolis (CCDM) Chairman Kazi Inam Ahmed said the change has been made due to heavy rain in Dhaka.
“The scheduled matches of the league was halted today (Tuesday) due to heavy rain which caused waterlogging at the two venues of BKSP. In conversation with the clubs and the BCB Management, the CCDM has decided to shift fixtures of BKSP, scheduled on June 01, 03 to Mirpur which will hold three matches a day for the next four days, Kazi Inam was quoted in a BCB press release.
Earlier on Tuesday, Ali Hossain, the member secretary of CCDM, told the media that due to rain, the second round of games will take place on the day which was originally set as the third round. Every round of games will now be delayed by one round.

This year’s Dhaka League started on May 31. A total of six matches took place on the opening day. Two of those ended up with no result due to rains.
A total of 12 clubs are contending in this year’s league. Due to the Covid-19 outbreak, the league was cancelled last year.
To ensure the safety of the players and officials, the board decided to accommodate them in the bio-secure bubble facilities at four different hotels in the capital.
