Public Works Department (PWD) Sports Club maintained the top slot in the Bashundhara Group Bangladesh Championship League (BCL) Football beating Farashganj Sporting Club by 1-0 goal at the Shaheed Barkat Stadium in Gazipur on Thursday.
With the day’s feat, PWD SC remained at the top slot securing 34 points from 14 matches while Arambagh KS followed them neck and neck with 33 points from 14 encounters.
After barren first half, Minhazul Karim Swadhin scored the match–winning goal for PWD SC in the 71st minute (1-0).

Shahed Mia put the City Club ahead in the 8th minute (1-0) while Mizanur Rahman doubled the margin in the 63rd minute (2-0).
