BCL: South Zone leading by 95 runs against North Zone in Chattogram

BCB South Zone are leading by 95 runs against BCB North Zone on the 2nd day of the four-day first class Bangladesh Cricket League (BCL) at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in the port city of Chattogram on Saturday.
Replying to South Zone’s first inning total 262 runs, North Zone were bundled out for 207 runs in 77.1 overs. They were struggling at 46/5 in 12 overs. Rony Talukdar and Ariful Haque scored 55 and 58 runs respectively to pass 200-run mark.
Shafiul Islam, who picked up five wickets on day-one, finally picked six wickets for 40 runs in 19.1 overs while Abdur Razzak took four wickets conceding 72 runs.
South Zone opened the 2nd innings with 55-run and scored 40 runs for 1 in 22 overs at the end of the day.
Shariar Nafees, who suffered a golden duck in the first innings, remained unbeaten on 19 runs off 60 balls while Shamsur Rahman was the other unbeaten batsman, who posted 16 runs.
Taskin Ahmed took the only wicket that South Zone lost in the 2nd innings so far.
