The remaining matches of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Football 2020-21 and Bangladesh Championship League (BCL) Football 2020-21 will resume on July 14 in Dhaka.
The decision was taken at a virtual meeting of the league committee Thursday with the committee chairman and Bangladesh Football Federation Senior Vice-President Abdus Salam Murshedy in the chair.

Due to the existing Covid-19 situation in the country, all BPL matches will now be held at two venues – Bangabandhu National Stadium and Fortis Football Club ground; the BCL matches will be held at one venue – Kamalapur Stadium.
On July 2, all BPL and BCL matches were postponed. The BFF took the decision due to continuous rainfall in the capital and the unplayable condition of the football pitch. The federation also considered the weather forecast while making the decision.

Earlier, the BFF postponed the Women's Football League, and the 3rd Division Football League matches up to July 7 due to inclement weather and countrywide strict Covid lockdown.
