With the day's massive victory, Saif SC reached the 3rd slot in the league toppling three time champions Sheikh Jamal DC securing 37 points from 21 matches while relegation bound Uttar Baridhara Club remained at 11th slot collecting 14 points from 21 encounters.
Local forward Meraz Hossain Opi (45th and 64th minutes) and Uzbek defender Asror Gafurov (68th and 83rd) struck two goals each, Nigerian forward Mfon Udoh (14th), forward Rahim Uddin (71st ) and defender Abid Ahmed (90+2) scored one each for the formidable Saif SC, which dominated the first half by 2-0 goals. .
Uttar Baridhara forward Sujon Biswas got the marching order after receiving a red card in the 52nd minute.
