Champions Dhaka Tribune richer with prize money of Tk 30,000 while runners-up Dainik Samakal received prize money of Tk 15,000.
In the tie-breaker, both the teams scored from their first four attempts.
Dhaka Tribune captain and goalkeeper Fazle Rabbi Moon foiled the fifth attempt of Samakal and then Shisir converted the the match-winning penalty kick for Tribune.
Later, Moon was adjudged the man of the final and man of the tournament, earning him the Masud Ahmed Rumi Trophy; Moniruzzaman Ujjal of Jagonews24.com was the highest scorer of the meet scoring seven goals while Deepto TV was named the most disciplined team receiving the Al Mosabbir Saadi trophy.
Coach of National Football team Jamie Day was the chief guest in the final and later he distributed the prizes.
Earlier in the semifinals, Dhaka Tribune eliminated the Daily Star beating them by 1-0 goal while Dainik Samakal beat Channel I by 4-3 goals tie breaker.
A total of 24 media teams of different newspapers, news agencies, electronics and online media, took part in the tournament, organized by Bangladesh Sports Journalists Association (BSJA) and sponsored by Square Toiletries Limited.
