S Hetmyer was caught behind by Mushfiqur Rahim on 180/6 in 46th over, sharing a sixth stand partnership of 92 off 14.1 overs with S Dowrich, starting after the dismissal of S Ambris.
Windies opened the first innings on the day’s first session and played 19 overs for 54/3 at lunch as dismissed Bangladesh’s last two wickets to finish the innings at 324/10 in 92.4 overs in the morning.
Taijul made the first breakthrough for Bangladesh dismissing Kieran Powell by lbw at 29/1 in 10.1 overs before Shakib grabbed the next two wickets.
Shakib bowled out Shai Hope at 30/2 in 11.1 overs and dismissed the visitors’ skipper-cum-opener Kraigg Brathwaite, was caught by Soumya Sarkar at 31/3 in 12 overs.
K Powell [14 off 20b; 2x4] and K Brathwaite[13 off 47b; 2x4] were the other batsmen could reach double-digit score.
On second day’s morning, Bangladesh resumed the first innings with an overnight score of 315/8 in 88 overs and lost two wickets within a 28-ball to add only nine runs more before Windies spinner Jomel Warrican dismissed both wickets.
Overnight batsman Taijul Islam played for a 39* off 68 balls, including four boundaries and one six, while another overnight batsman Nayeem Hasan [26 off 74b; 2x4] was caught by Shai Hope at 324/9 in 92.1 overs before Mustafizur Rahman was out by lbw on innings total in 92.4 overs.
