Dhaka, Jan 19 (UNB) -The Begum Lala Alam 10th International Rating Women’s Chess Tournament under the auspices of Bangladesh Chess Federation and sponsored by former national woman chess player Laila Alam will begin on January 27 at the Bangladesh Chess Federation hall-room.
This is an open event for all woman and girl chess players to be held on seven-round Swiss League system.
Interested players have been asked to enroll their names on or before January 26 at Bangladesh Chess Federation office with an entry fee of Tk 200 each.
The tournament committee has offered prize money of Tk 65,000 for the participants
