Dhaka, Nov 11 (UNB) – Bangladesh cricket team’s genuine Test batsman Mominul Haque completed his seventh century in the first innings of the second and final match of a series against visiting Zimbabwe on day one at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium on Sunday.

Mominul hit a boundary off Sikandar Raza in 54.1 overs to reach 102* from 98 when Bangladesh were on 181 for 3 in the second session of the first day. He fired 12 boundaries off 150 balls to complete the century mission.

Mominul [115* off 164b; 14x4] was on batting in the fourth pair of 181 off 46.5 overs with Mushfiqur Rahim [71* off 132b; 5x4] when the bails were drawn for tea. Mominul-Mushfiq started their composures in the first session from 26/3 in 11.1 overs.

The favorite son of Cox’s Bazar, 27-year old Mominul made his Test debut against Sri Lanka in March 2013 and played so far 30 Tests, till date.
