Spinner Nahida Akter emerged as the first Bangladeshi cricketer to win the "ICC Women's Player of the Month" award for the month of November 2023, considering her brilliant series-winning performance against Pakistan at home.
Nahida was selected for the award after beating her compatriot Fargana Hoque and Pakistani spinner Sadia Iqbal in a tough competition.
